Martial Arts for Everyone

In Japan where Karate and Judo develped, training Martial Arts had very little to do with whether or not you had money. People used to train with farming tools, punched trees and rocks, ran up and down the stairs around shrines and temples in order to get stronger.

Kids want to continue, but ...

In the past years, several students had to discontinue training at the dojo. The majority of them were forced to leave because of financial reasons. The Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) was developed to assist those who need some financial support to start or continue learning Martial Arts.

A place to be safe and exercise, receive educational assistance, and learn the values that make a person productive and confident better enriches society. However, it should not be limited just to the people who can afford such programs. This is one of the main reasons for going non-profit.

For those who cannot afford any of the programs will have their child and/or themselves receive TAP, a Tuition Assistance Program. They will pay a fraction of the cost of enrollment in any program. The cost will be mandatory to ensure commitment to the program.

Any member of the community that applies for TAP must reveal their annual income records.

In order to provide for this program and still run a viable school that reaches out to the community every year, there must be adequate private/corporate funding. TAP cannot exist without generous donations from sponsors.

If you or your organization are interested in contribuing to TAP, please contact us.
